As I said it hasn't been all work and no play a picnic a few weeks ago with some new friends at Waihi beach and a trip to Hampton downs to the classic race meet has helped keep my sanity
Got to ride these while at the meet. So impressed with the storm the thruxton however really needs suspension work especially the front.
Addmitidly I was chasing some of the new models around.

Hampton downs is a bit of a run from home.
Whos the group,local rats?.
Somehow I get the feeling we may see that speedy morphing into a storm when the house is finished.

Thanks Mad. Harry as much as I love the torque and the grunt of the storm even the fact that you can throw the big bike around it's just not me. When I jumped on my bike to ride home it just fits, you know what I mean and I am happy. The group are some new friends I have meet up here, it doesn't take long to meet like minded bike riders. We were meant to ride round the east cape to Gisbourne 2 weekends ago only to wake to rain bad enough to put us off. I wanted to enjoy the view not battle conditions.

That's a big job done then, it's good to see it taking shape. How long do you think it will be till completion, obviously your not going to do a rush job on it

I should get onto it full time in about 4 to 6 weeks with a bit of luck. No end date at this point really.

Liz and I will be coming through your way tuesday of next week. Taking a week off so will hit Gisborne Mon,Tauranga Tues,then on to the Corromandel Weds,then Hamilton for two days before heading back on the Sat.
Will try to catch up.
