I am trying to find a center stand for my 2013 Triumph Tiger 800 (not XC). All I can find is the XC/XT version. I found a company that says SW-Motech made them, but apparently discontinued this version. Their part number was. HPS.11.753.10000.B. Does anyone know where I can buy one new or used. Also, is the issue with the (available) XC/XT model the height of the suspension/ground clearance on the XC/XT? If the mounting points are the same, I will buy it and cut it down to fit since I really want one for my bike. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. I would take another brand, but I am not aware of any additional options. Thanks, John

I received the OEM short center stand from Triumph and installed it today on my 2013 (street) 800 (not XC). The only issue was on the left side by the chain. It has two rubber stops that rest on the swing arm, and another one in the center on the left side that rests against the (attached and installed) stop mount. The arm on the left side was 1/4" from the chain in the up position, which was way too close for me.

Fortunately that stop was not even hitting the swing arm as the stop in the center was already doing that. Since it was not used, I cut if off and modified the left side so it is almost 1" from the chain and slightly more when I am sitting on the bike. Otherwise, it is a little too hard for me to pull it back on the stand by myself and I'm pretty fit (but 64 years old). Unless you are younger and pretty darn strong, that will be a 2 man job.

Fortunately, I had a hydraulic 4 wheeler stand I used to help me test it and it works fine in the down position, with the rear wheel about 3" off of the carport floor. All in all, I am very happy to have found one and with the exception of a little modification, it works perfect. Thanks!
