I did buy that same item from the same place, when I had a Bonneville. I didn't have a lift, or jack, so after trying a few times (probably my lack of determination) I asked my local Triumph dealer (now out of business) to install it. Another member of this forum bought that bike, when I bought my Thunderbird, which doesn't have a center stand, and I'm OK with that.
