Bonneville T100
Bought it from an estate auction at Leland Little Auctions in Hillsborough, NC. Leland Little Auctions They auction off top quality items. Got it for a great price. Has new seat, and British Custom mufflers. he also took the air breather box off and installed Cone air cleaners. I was going to put the stock air box back on but the cones look good. He added some additional gages. It had 3500 miles when I got it. He also changed the turn signal lens to clear and installed Amber LED turn signal lights. I will try to send photos but if you go to this link they are still up. 2008 Triumph Bonneville T100 Someone left the gas petcock turn in the on position and the fuel leaked out onto the top of the engine and left a brown stain. I used oven cleaner and got most of it off. What did not come off may be imbedded in the metal. Any suggestions on how to get the rest off. Since my photos were copied and pasted to a MS Word file I cannot attach them. So, this is the only one I can paste because it is a large file. At least that is my thought. All of them are on the site in the second link.

Great looking bike. I really like the paint scheme TUP
Sorry, can't help with the gas stain.
I got almost all of it off the right side. A lot of it came off the left side. I will continue to use various chemicals in hopes that repeating the process will eventually wear it down. One question I have about the color of the metal. Is this metal this light gray color because it was powder coated?

I don't know anything about the finish on that model.
If parts are powder coated then I would have to assume that is the powder coat color.
If the parts are clear coated then the factory metal color would show.

Drop dead gorgeous bike!! Congratulations!! I love it!!

Trying to place where I saw that seat before. Think it was on the T214 Limited Edition Bonneville made in 2015 IIRC.
Maybe it was available as an option back in 2008, but I doubt it.

I have no idea since he died a few months back and I never knew him. If you find out, please let me know. I would like to have all the information about it I can get. If I find out I will do the same. Thanks.

Doubt it was an option. Previous owner probably liked the red stitching and bought it used or new in 2015 or later. It does look good on your bike with the red stitching. Hopefully you find it comfortable.
If others recall seeing this style of seat prior the 2015, pipe in and let us know. Don't know all the option choices for the air cooled Bonnies of that era.

The seat is very comfortable. I will do more research and will get back when I find out. Thanks.
