Must be Christmas

I guess I've been so busy at work I didn't realize it was Christmas today. What do you mean it's still the middle of August? It can't be. . . It's 68 DegF in Southeast Texas. . . It's GOT to be Christmas.

Now that is highly unusual for this time of year. Did you get some rain?

Oh yeah. . . we got some rain. An inch in 15 or 20 minutes at the house and then it cleared up.

Every August we can look forward to a shift in the jet stream which brings cooler temps and low humidity. Early mornings are very fall-like at around 14C( 57F). The days are in the 24-26C(75-79F) range and are great temps for riding in full gear.

I was wrong about yesterday being Christmas, today must be Christmas since it is 64 DegF. Definitely not a normal August low around here.
