Symphonic metal from Finland ... she is talented singer (a great voice).
That IS a great voice, though not a voice one would usually associate with metal music. She carries it very well, and, probably, could sing whatever she wanted to.
The band, too, is right up there with the best.

Many folks have covered "Hang On, Sloopy", so I'm not surprised that Rick Derringer did, but I didn't know he did.
Update: did some research, Rick Derringer was the leader of the McCoys, the band that did the original version of "Hang On, Sloopy", so it's reasonable that he'd do a remake. The dancer was hired for this one video, and it was many years before her identity became known: Lisa Leonard Dalton.

What she did (for example) 9:08 - 9:15 ... changing from pretty high head voice note to chest/bell voice just like that (so easily) .... also her breathing technic is so well controlled. No average pop/rock singer can do the same.
My morning music lately has been Simply Red , Joni Mitchell and the Sons of the Pioneers .
Thanks for posting. I will be looking for more Nightwish. Always good to see a band that is into it, and so is the crowd.

The drummer is pretty good too (experts say so). I like that he is using the whole set. Some metal drummers have huge sets and in real they just use half of it.
