Matte Black Finish

Hi all. I've got a matte black Speedmaster.......which I love. Because of the finish I can't use waxes, polishes etc.. From your experience what is the best way to clean and protect the paint work. All I do is wipe it down with a damp cloth.

Now this is something I have never even thought about. I suppose a normal wash with some type of car wash and then just a light rub down should do it.

hi there and welcome to TT , warm soapy water is fine !

Farside also just uses warm water with a mild detergent. Soft chamois cloth to finish it.

Thanks for the advice. Is there anything I can apply to protect the paintwork?
