I had a dear friend from Deer Island . He said a lot of Campobello children were born in the USA due to the shorter distance to the hospital in Maine . Can’t remember how that affected their citizenship..

That is indeed the reason why a lot of the Campobello residents have dual citizenship.

We went up once in the Camry . It’s was a beautiful day at the bottom and a cold hurricane at the top . Had to stop a few times on the way down as the brakes were fading badly . Ten years later buddy was putting new shoes on the rear brakes and finds the drum was cracked .
Another time I took the 84 Honda CXe up and it was beautiful . At the top as soon as I got off the old Honda some young man comes right over all excited and making a big fuss about the poor old thing . My riding partner got a little out off sorts that his brand new red Mean Streak wasn’t getting any love ..
