That's what it looks like to me. I don't know if there's a difference in the length for the 800 and 800XC.
Thanks, so your standard link is 6 inches long & mine is 6 & 3/4 inches center hole to center hole.
Will that make a big difference to the geometry of the bike, because it does seem to "bottom out" quite easily???
I could be wrong here ! ..... but im prety sure if its longer the bike is lower and if its shorter the bike is taller .
Would probably make the shock easier to compress due to a greater mechanical advantage, hence the bottoming out I would think.
I've just the one my XC came with.
I just looked at the spec's on the 800 verses the XC. You may have the stock drag link on the bike. The 800 has a seat height of 31.9 and the XC is 33.2.
For bottoming out, you might need to adjust the rear shock up a notch or two. It would be worth a try before buying another link and finding it's the same.

Im just pondering the very same thing I'm 5.5 and on tippy toes, Only just bought the bike, lower seat made no difference IMO so I just bought 35mm lower kit for back end not done it yet but if I'm going to be able to pannier up and hit the road something has to give and I've never been good in heals, had started wondering if Id made a mistake buying the bike but reading some of this stuff gives me hope...

I haven't been around a lowered Tiger so I have no personal experience with them but from what I've heard, the folks who have done it really like what they ended up with.
