Horribly cold in Johannesburg today - couldn't figure out why until I saw the snow report a few minutes ago! Snow on the Sani Pass - and when it snows on the Drakensburg mountain range, Johannesburg freezes.

Harry....You are all quality. Looks like you enjoy the best beer as well. Used to be able to get Speight's over here, however haven't seen it up this way for a few years.

Actually Bryce, you couldnt drown a cat in the amount of beer I'd drink in a year.
That hat, plus a cap and a couple of cool t shirts and a carry bag were a raffle prize in the year before lasts toy run I partook in.
When I grabbed that grinder, the hat was a perfect fit on the hopper to keep the beans in the dark.(I dont like them to see what they are about to become.):y2:

10c in Joburg today - light wind and thunder rumbling around. Time to lock up the office (it's colder than a meat-hanger in my office), go to the house, get on the couch with a cuppa hot something, blanket and TV remote...................in my dreams in the middle of a work day but it was a nice thought.

Carl, as you know I can't handle anything under 25c but it dropped to about 6c when the storm broke - I'm in a bit of a dip and near a river so it's always a little colder in my area. But the sun's out sort-of and we're up to 11c now. I have a love-hate relationship with time of year in Joburg - 10 seasons in a day but on a good day, it's a wonderful day in autumn.
