I saw no evidence of "target fixation" here.
I did see evidence of a rider that quit riding his motorcycle for what ever reason.
Fear of riding on a ramp? Possibly.
Fear of riding into an enclosed space? Possibly.
His mistake was not wearing protection before trying something he had never done before. Amongst other mistakes...
I see Target Fixation often, and I cover techniques to deal with it in beginner rider classes. Yeah, I'm one of THOSE...
