Over a week late with this news, but Kevin flew in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

He's really been working out on this deployment, I think he can beat me up now, although he got his butt wiped on ESPN on "Fight Night for the Heros". Okay, okay, so they matched him up with a semi-pro on his very first bout, still he said it was fun and he's got his 15 minutes of fame.

"We are extremely proud of him" is quite an understatment. He'll be at 'Hood for 4 or 5 months, then 'Bliss (El Paso) for a year, then who knows? (6 months remaining on his current enlistment plan at that point).

Sally is more worried about him being in El Paso than she was about him being in Iraq; the drug wars there are SERIOUS; worse than most current war zones around the world.

Thanx for everyones kind thoughts, well-wishes, and sincere prayers for his recent deployment, we really appreciate your friendship.

Now, to get his Ducati roadworthy again...

Outstanding, GP; that is GREAT news. We are so glad he is home safe and sound! I enjoyed my assignment at Ft Bliss - but there were no drug wars then. I understand how Sally feels; Mae Lyne was really glad that Anthony was in Iraq when the Ft Hood massacre went down. There is something terribly wrong when our soldiers are safer in a combat zone than they are on there home base in the US.

Please tell Kevin I said welcome home and give my my thanks for his service.

Paul that is a wonderful Thanksgiving treat. I know how relieved that you and Sallyare. Please give Kevin my thanks for his service and a big "welcome home".
