On Tuesday, May 14th, Mabel and I went kayaking in the Indian River at Oak Hill, FL. The Indian River is part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and is salt. The water temp was 79F/26C and the air temp was 83F/28C. Wind was out of the northeast and it was cool and refreshing. We kayaked for four three hours and then went to Goodrich's Seafood and Oyster Bar for lunch. Goodrich's servers great seafood cooked old Florida style. Yum.

Got home tired from kayaking and with a full stomach. We had fresh made key lime pie for dessert. It was a good day.

Thanks Rocky, I had the pleasure of introducing Jim and Sandy to Goodrich;s when they were here in February and March. The liked it so much we went back for a repeat visit.

Wow that is really nice, love to do that.

When I was still at school I had a flat bottom wooden canoo and made a sort of a wheel that I could attach to it. I would walk it down to the small river that ran through the town and have great fun. Having a flat bottom you really had to be able to balance otherwise it would tip over for no reason.

Thanks, Dave.Come on over and kayak with us. We have four kayaks!

Good fun and good food. What's not to like. That seafood looks delish.
Thanks you, Steve. That is one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever visited.
