Thanks for the photo AJ. I was thinking it was going to look worse and couldn't figure out why she would think she could drive it, now I understand. I had thought the hood would also show signs of maybe one or two of the herd rolling across it and maybe a bumper with damage.

From that photo, I can't see where the radiator would have been dislocated so that the fan hits it. However, if she ran over one of the deer, the radiator damage could have happened from underneath. The deer certainly dented that fender!

The left front end is damaged too....the high beam headlight is broken, the hood is buckled (it wont open either), and the bumper was pushed back. The entire bumper is moved about two inches sideways to the left as well.

Several deer came into contact with the car and one jumped over it.

It's hard to see in the pic, but look closely and you'll notice the hood on the left side buckles upward, the bumper and headlights are pushed backward (you can tell by the way the hood now overhangs the headlights only on the left side), and the hi beam is broken.

It did handle the hits pretty well though...but I think that's because she was slamming on the brakes.

With that photo the damage is more evident.

I've hit deer before and it is upsetting to kill one and destroy half the meat, but the other side is usually still pretty good, especially smothered in gravy.

Deer around here are huge. The front of the Jag slopes down pretty low so I would say the front hit the one in the legs and not the body.

She did say the one she hit with the front was at least an 8 or 10 point buck.
