I guess Texas is pretty big, that's a lot of places and 16 000km's in 10 months.

We also did a version with multiple riders that I will post if I can locate it. While the group was gathering the photos Scott headed out and grabbed his own set.

Yep, Texas is pretty good sized. Each year there is a loosely organized ride/run across the state referred to as racing the sun. At daylight the riders leave the eastern state line on Interstate 10 and ride West to the New Mexico State line. If you do it right you arrive at state line at sunset. Add another 150 miles or so miles and you have the miles in for an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000.

That is a lot of riding and then you still need to ride back again to where you come from lol

A really good video, Tony. Thanks for the post. I have ridden across Texas four times. I did NOT do it in one day.
