Hi, I'm Adam a photographer and filmmaker up in Maine. I ride a 2007 Triumph Bonneville I just purchased almost a month ago. Rode a lot when in my teens and 20's, mostly on a Honda CT70 as a kid then a Kawasaki KZ400 when I got older. Hadn't ridden for almost 25 years before I bought my Triumph. Been a dream of mine to own a Triumph since I was a kid growing up idolizing Steve McQueen and James Dean. Looking forward to digging into T-RAT. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to TT from just to the east of you BBEER
I have an '06 and love it.
Thanks! That's great about your '06. I've been just reading up on the history of the Bonnevilles. Heck of a story, make a great film. Speaking of, I stumbled upon a documentary last night called Boys of Bonneville: Riding on a Ribbon of Salt (2011). Doesn't really touch on anything to do with Triumph or motorcycles, but it lays out the history of how the land speed records started out there by Ab Jenkins and his team back in the 20's and 30's. If you're not familiar with the film you might find it interesting.

Looking forward to digging into T-RAT.

Hello. Welcome. This isn't T-RAT (Triumph Rat). This is the better and respectful Triumph Talk!

Just to prove how nice we are, I've given you a like!

My gap was about 30 years, until i bought my first triumph about three years ago. Thought I'd better get one before the Zimmer frame. Still a bit wobbly!

Which is still wobbly, you or the bike? ;)

The bike's not at all wobbly, unless I'm riding it. Had a ½mph wipeout with a pillion as I tried to start moving into a 90⁰ turn going up a camber. I really injured myself, twisted my torso trying to save weight of bike and pillion. So yeah, there's something wrong with the bike, it wobbles when I ride it.

Apologies, it's a Honda.

Just realized I wrote "T-RAT" down when I meant to say "TT". So many forums so little time to proof read.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. Don't forget to post a pic of your ride. I love my '17 T-120 Bonny Black especially in the twisties. It has been parked awhile since getting my Bobber and Thruxton R, maybe this weekend I'll pull it out for some riding, hmmnnnn.......

Hello from overcast with a 40% chance of rain mid-coast Maine! I spent last weekend cleaning my ride up to get ready for pictures. My engine covers are looking rough but I'll post some pictures ASAP. I'm jealous about your Thruxton R. That's next on my wish list. But that'll be a while. Ride safe out there!
