Hello all,
Just a short introduction.
I am dutch, 57 years old, living in Nuenen, near Eindhoven.
I got my motorcycle drivers license in 1986 but did not buy a motorcycle immediatly.
Just rented one occasionally, to go for a daytour with friends.
For some reason, buying my own motorcycle, stayed on spot 7 of the family priority list. Something else always seemed to shift in above it
.
Untill, 3 years ago, a friend bought a KTM Adventurer and got a not too good trade-in offer on his Sprint 900.
Being well over the midlife crisis and with the prio list not filling up at high pace anymore, I jumped to the occasion.
Since then I have been driving and maintaining my Sprint 900.
I do not drive very often, I manage to do ca. 2000 km a year, but enjoy it very much. Great bike !
I like maintaining it myself, I am a mechanical engineer by study, work on Dual Clutch Transmission Development by profession.
So I am used to shift drums and wet clutch packs.
See you on this forum !
