That still seems a steep price for that bike but then I am also looking at the exchange rates from my side.

Our Canadian dollar is only worth 76 cents against the US dollar so travel or buying is a tough proposition.
I've done a lot of online shopping with US companies and frequently get good email offers from many of them, but when you add in the exchange, shipping, customs, it's just not worth it anymore.
Fortunately, there are now several Canadian online companies that sell 99.9% of the motorcycle related stuff so I can now shop at my local dealer or online.
I always try to support the local dealer, but sometimes online prices are too good to pass up - and some offer free shipping over $50.00.
Well right now our SA Rand is sitting at around R14 to $1 US so you can see my problem
