I have always been a big one on the Honda and I think this would have been my choice

CB1000R the price is right where I would like it to be and it's the type of bike I could really enjoy

I confess that I'm a Honda fan and have been one ever since I returned to bikes in 1992 with the purchase of a new Honda Hawk NT650.
I rode that bike for over 75,000 km's (47,000 miles), and it was still running like a top when I sold it for the CB900F (919) that I now own.
The CB1000R is the big brother of the bike I have now (no longer made) and it would be the one I would choose.
The only thing I don't like about most of the new bikes is that huge air space between the rear tire and the fender.
To me it just looks odd.
Can't say as I care much either for the boxy and weird shaped mufflers on many of the new bikes.

It seems that huge empty space is now the trend on most of the new bikes. Then I suppose we are so used to the traditional styling it was seem strange to us
I agree.
When I look at either the old T100 or the new T100 I just love the styling of them.
After Triumph introduced the Bonneville models I knew I would eventually have one.
It seems just like a couple of years ago I bought it, and now here it is, six years later :y13:

Aah no - you guys are bragging and showing off. I do have a Japanese 2-wheeled motorised machine in my garage. Does my little red Kawasaki scooter count???

No....................I thought not!BLUSH

Dave, all my bikes look like new too.
They are my pride and joy, and while I don't mind twisting on the gas and riding in a spirited manner, they get lots of TLC in the way of washing and polish.
I don't let dirt, tarnish or surface rust gather very long.
