I have an auxiliary battery that I can plug into the USB port. It recharges the phone battery. It works well - when I remember to carry it with me.

Well with the Blackberry if I plug it into the USB of the PC it will charge. I also have one of the car chargers in my car but most times the battery will last a working day and I use it loads on the web. So I will unplug it in the morning at around 06:30 and when I get home around 18:00 it needs charging but some days I do need to use the car charger.

Carl does your one come with internet as the Blackberry I pay 12.00 ZAR = 1.47708 USD a month for unlimited internet except for YouTube and video sites. This is a great feature and I love it. The funny thing is before I had it I could not even send an SMS but now I can text and type normally on the Blackberry and I think it is more because the keyboard layout is as it should be on a PC

I'll provide the food no problem because you can't get a techie out at 10pm but I can haul his teenage *** out of his room to sort it out. :y2: I can't even get a DVD to play on our system it's so complicated - I just call Liam and he sorts it. And it's about to get more complicated. Farside and I still have a massive collection of vinyl LP's and they're making a come-back. Last night Farside announced he's buying a new turntable to hook up to the existing system - so that's just another bit of complication added to the set up.

The call of "LIAM! HELP!" will now be heard ringing through our house more often! :y11:

We both kept our collections for some unknown reason - take up a lot of space. But now I'm glad we did. Have you seen the price some LP's are going for on e-Bay? I bet loads of people who sold or gave away their collections are really sorry now! I think we're going to have a lot of fun dragging out the LP's again and listening to them again after about 20 years of storage - talk about a walk down memory lane! So ok, maybe some memories will be a bit fuzzy now - at 92 my memory's a bit shot. Either that or they've been blurred by a smoke induced daze :y2: 70's was a good era.

I still have somewhere between 500-1,000 LP's, including some collector items which I will never dispose of. I was offered $5,000 for my entire collection about 5 years ago and laughed it off - wouldn't take three times that!

Yes it does. I pay $25.00 per month for internet access.

Gromit, truer words have never been said.

If you buy a complex stereo, surround sound, tv, dish package thing. Just unbox it and invite 3 teenagers over to visit.
It will be all hooked up in no time.

That is the gospel truth!!

I have a turntable as well, and like listening to old records..........I buy them at garage sales, antique stores etc.

I have a good collection of vinyl LP's and a a fair collection of 78 rpm records.

Smoke..mmmmmmmmmmmmmm I love the smell of 2stroke smoke :)

Ditto!! TUP

That is the whole smart phone package. My basic phone was $50.00 per month; it is now $75.00 per month. Unlimited texting would add another $15.00 per month.
