I'm seeing the TV coverage on CNN, the US networks, as well as our own networks and it's beyond belief what is happening there!!
If anything, what is all that rain and flooding doing to your property or your area?
I hope you're on high ground.

I'm sure some of them are, but many are simply overtaken by the rising water.
However, time and time again I have observed the arrogance (stupidity) of people who knowingly and willingly drive into flood waters and get trapped.

We have this road that is a bit of a short cut between the one part of town and the other. Now with any bit of rain it floods like in this video and the amount of local people that must know this and still try and drive through is amazing. The have now put up booms that they have to lock when it rains for the stupid folks that cannot work it out that you should not try and cross when it is flooded.

They were hoping to be back open for Memorial Day but didn't make it. Hopefully it won't be much longer.
