Usually go on my electric bicycle when working on a house. More fun than a motorcycle in the city for just a few miles. Can really throw it around, keep up with traffic, and leave it indoors when arrived.
Going on to a pub, so went on engined bike. Kept front door of the house open, nervous a blind car driver would knock it over when parking. Kept watch from upstairs too.
Couple of hours, then on to Saltford Weir, Somerset.
Shady parking. Bike nice n near where seated. Met someone as usual, who shouted (it's noisy next to the weir), Is that your bike. ... Very nice. It's only old men I get to meet with this bike.
Old motorbikes and boats seem to attract old men.
Shady eating. Run by people of Indian heritage. I had a curry. Not that weird English stuff on the left, the bangers and mash.
Inside the Jolly Sailor.
Noticed another bit had dropped off my bike before setting out; headlamp bracket this time. They don't make spanners properly anymore.
