I used to do work at the fire department and I was talking to the safety instructor the one day about car fires. I asked him about the issues surrounding cars exploding when on fire and the safety surrounding the guys fighting the fire. He said to me car on fire only explode in the movies. Since then I have seen numerous car fires and to date I have never seen one explode like this except if the have some type of explosive device in then such as gas bottles and such stuff. This one seems to explode from the gas tank area?

It may be real but I question it. The camera work seems too good for someone on the street doing the filming. He seemed to pan just in time to catch the two vehicles in the intersection and then just happened to follow the action. The actions of the feller in the video seems suspect also, playing to the camera the whole time. But like I said it might be real, just seems too perfect to me.

If you look at 6sec there does not seem to be a street running down to the left of him. Then at about 11 to 12 sec the video seems to stop and now the seem to be in a different location and you now have a street running down to the left of him. Also the face brick building seems further away from them now. Also as you say the camera work seems just to perfect

its a real crash but its been put into another place and the bike and fire added after ! if you watch it after it hits the pole and slides down the road you can see under neath it ! but when he runs up to it you can see a tank under it which then bursts in to flames .
but still holly sh*t !

Are Ford Pintos still made in Italy? And what loyal Italian boy would buy a Kawasaki? If there was a Duck dealer in my state I would buy one.

Real or not - it's a great piece of film.

I tend to think it's not because the camera is clearly tripod mounted - no one can hand hold that steadily, especially in the face of a shocking event. Why be tripod mounted if you're just showing off your bike to a friend.
