My Brother just got hold of one of the hinge kits ... we plan on revamping it to a slightly better aesthetically and possibly lockable with a key. Will keep ya posted , its obviously not a critical or important fix.

Hi Carl have been distracted with home renovation and erecting a she'd duties bugger! I plan to get focused later this week and will keep you informed. I want to make this as simple as possible to make, operate and install and will share info and pictures. I am also playing with hid projector headlight modification just waiting for the projector to arrive.

Hi Carl,

Sorry I have not bee around with home renovations, ill father in law I have occupied most of my free time over the last 4 weeks which is why I have been missing in action.

I hope to get the projects with hinged seat and headlight in the next few weeks after the painting of the house.

I also was retrenched from the employment 2 weeks ago due to the economic times so plenty is a happening in our household ha ha and I am also back chasing for employment.

I will catch up soon.

Greg, it sounds like your plate is pretty full. Sorry to hear about your job. I lost mine in 2007 for the same reason. However, I cold retire; so i did. I wish you the best in job hunting. And I can fully relate to the home renovation. We are in the middle of that ourselves.

Thanks for letting us know that you are OK. I am eager to follow your projects.

Hi Greg.

Good luck in the job hunting over there. I was retrenched in July. Still looking for employment. Too young to retire and too old for a paper round.

Thanks all for your encouragement will catch up soon now back to cleaning plaster dust in new rooms and then to start painting Hohhot the pain! I would rather be playing with my bike or riding however the weather forecast for the next 7 days is not good rain, rain rain so it is a good time to get the painting completed as summer us approaching.

Just have the eaves to do on both sides of house to have completely finished the painting inside and out. Soon I will be back to the T100 projects! PS....... That looks a great solution to the seat removing issue. I have to remove my seat when I wish to install my luggage system and find it a real pain with the original Allen headed bolts. Where did you purchase this removal kit from? My original plan to hinge the seat has stalled due that I was t a few months ago and was about to purchase a mig / Tig welder for the job but had to hold off spending the dollars as I am also renovating our home which has cost me a small fortune ha ha!
