Hi everyone, some of you may remember me. I used to be a regular on the forum but due to health issues I have been off the forum for over a year now.
My health is pretty good again after having my thyroid removed, and things are looking better!
Since i was here last, I sold my Tiger and bought an 08 Scrambler which I have done a few mods on.
Thruxton wheels, dual entry air box, tracker pipe, and a few farkles here and there.

Whilst I have not done much riding I have kept busy in the 'man cave' and re-built this 1977 Yamaha RD400. I am re-living my youth with this one!

And the Bullet has been treated to a sprung saddle.

For those of you that remember me, we lost both our dogs last year too, so it was a pretty rubbish year! But in February this year we got a new pup, she is a Bearded Collie, and her name is Willow.
This is her the day we got her at 8 weeks old.

And this is her now, she will be 1 year old on the 14th December, she is into everything!

I hope to spend a bit more time on the forum now as things are on the up again!

Hi Steve, yes I remember you OK, and your health problems, which I hope have now all gone and won't be coming back any time soon.
You've got some nice toys there, and Willow looks brilliant.
Stand by for a lot of people responding to your good fortune with regards to your health, and your lovely toys
Welcome back
Garry

Thanks Brian, I am glad your partner is well after the thyroid operation. The NHS had two goes at my thyroid. I had half of it removed due to a tumour in 2011. Then had the other half removed last July due to another tumour. I wished they had just removed it all in the first place! I have struggled with finding the correct dosage of levothyroxin, but I am getting there!.

Hi Steve, I am Baldeagles OH - the one who lost the thyroid! Mine was cancerous and it took about a year and a half for them to get the levothyrox right. Now I'm on one dosage three times a week and another dosage four. It is tricky as we are all different and they have to tweak the dosages. Hang in there. They will get it right soon now. Fingers crossed for you. Enjoy your bike and your pup! Xx A.

Welcome back Steve, great to hear from you again.

My mom just had her thyroid removed a couple month's ago so she is just getting started on the path to getting her meds. Hopefully you, Baldeagles OH, and my mom will all get everything worked out and be healthier than ever.

HOWDY and welcome back
Glad the health is improving --- great stable of bikes---- what year is that Enfield? I sat on a new one at the local Triumph Dealer last week......it was a neat thing--- 500 cc..... I may have to go take one for a test run one day--- they have always intrigued me .....

Hi Adrian, the Enfield is a 2002 Bullet 65. Thy are 'interesting' to ride! Nothing happens quickly on a Bullet, above 65mph it feels like all the fillings in your teeth are about to fall out, and with the twin leading shoe front brake you have to make an appointment to stop! But on a sunny day it is good fun pootling around the back roads.
