Hi all,
I recently completed a full rebuild / restoration of a 1969 Triumph Tiger 650 and am enjoying every moment riding it. My other bike is a 2007 Tiger 1050 which to is a pleasure to ride.

Welcome to TriumphTalk from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA! :y2:

Thanks for the photos......absolutely stunning '69 Tiger.

I think that makes 3 of us with the same year and model (and on '68 which they called a Trophy then).

You can see mine HERE . Funny the tiny differences between US and other markets

Silverfish - Hello and welcome from Sunny South Florida (though cloudy and rainy today).

That's a magnificent Tiger 650 - What fun it must be to throw a leg of that and fire it up.

AJ - yours is also gorgeous - I like that deep red color

Howdy from East Texas and welcome to TT.

That's one sweet ride you have there.

As said before, there seems to be a member or two from South Africa and one of them is our "Technical Expert" (TE) so you had better pick up a can of WD-40 and a roll of duct tape, that's all you need for Grade A Repairs per the TE's guidance.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Yes she is my pride and joy, my first brit rebuild which kept me busy for 18 months. I can understand why these Triumphs were so popular in the day as it's a joy to ride. Small and nimble:y2:
Now for this Gromit person! I live in Edenvale and spend a lot of time in Traditional Triumph but don't know anyone by Gromit! What's their real name?

EVERYONE knows Gromit or at least know about her! But I must go by a pseudonym because my technical expertise intimidates a lot of guys so I keep a low pro - I'm humble you know. BTW, besides the duct tape and WD40, you also need BLACK cable ties.

Anyway, you're "Silverfish" so what's YOUR real name??? :y2: But there's a really great bunch of people here and I'm sure you'll enjoy the banter.

Silverfish, welcome to the forum. Congrats on that Tiger restoration. That is a beautiful TR6. Thanks for the pics. I agree; they are a joy to ride. I have a 68 Trophy TR6.
