hey um,going slightly OT here but Greg,I've been looking out for a pair of led spots and those on the front of your bike look like what I'm after. What can you tell me about them please.

Hi the led lights have 4 Cree leds and are 3100 lumen each and draw around 2 amps each. They have a good beam and if you have a look at the website you should see some pics.

the website I think is www.24x7diy.com if you have any issues finding them let me know and I will di a search and post the link.

they cost around $170 us

i hope this assists you if you wish tomorrow night I could take a pic showing the beam pattern against my IPF head light with a Phillips Extreme 100 globe

Regards Greg

They are extremely bright you will blind the buggers ha ha!!!!!!! They will sure see you coming I only use them on high beam.

I know what you mean Carl My mum passed away last year miss seeing her she liked my bike but really did not want me to get another bike as I had a bad motorcycle accident many years ago was in hospital 4 mths and took a many years to get over however I love riding and bijes and are so glad my ex left me and i bought another bike ha ha!

I was blessed that my late wife loved to ride and had her own bike. My new bride also rides and has her own bike.

Just checked your photos Greg, some impressive mods going on for sure.
Questions, are those bar end blinkers legal? The photos doesn't show them real well but I think I like them a lot.
Is that Richmond Bridge in shot #10, I've enjoyed that area but flew in and rented cars both times, gotta do in on a bike.

Cheerrs for the link Greg
looking at the site, they may in fact be a little over the top for my use (I dont do a lot of night riding ) but I will check out the site.
As said,I only need something to increase my visibility on the road, but I dont want to blind other road users even more than they are.

I hope the blinkers are legal ha ha they are very bright led lights which face both directions so very visual and the bar end are nice and wide apart but neat.
The mirrors are small but do like them better than the origina mirrors in which I had a great view of my arms ha ha

Ohhh yes that is Richmond bridge and you have to do Tassie on a bike sooooo good!!!!!

I have been over 4 times with the bike and the roads are fantastic fun and so quiet very few cars.[

I will have to do a small video showing the led lights and indicators so you all can see them the LED driving lights are very bright!

Hi Bonnie79D yes the Dandenongs are a nice place to ride and fine on coming down for the GP.

I am fortunate that I only have to ride out my street and I am on nice windy mountain roads so no travel time to get to a nice place to ride just straight into it.[

Its a great day today wish I was on bike instead of office ohhh bugger!

QUOTE=Bonnie79D;162568]Hi Greg,

Welcome to the forum. The Dandenogs are a great place for a ride. Went to the Island in 99 for the GP. Hired bikes in Melbourne and rode down there through the Dandenogs.[/QUOTE]

The Bridge is Richmond Bridge in Tasmania and the bar end and rear indicators are Oberon and have the bright yellow led lights both directions forward and rearward so visibility for indication is great. I believe they are legal and had not issues with police etc as most of the issues with indicators are usually not wide enough apart and at the end of the bars you can't get much wider ha ha!
