Yes, it's starting to get cool here too.
But the past while we've been getting some warm southern air up the eastern coast and enjoying it.
That's soon to end though and we will have those cooler temps soon enough.
But I like the cooler weather. You can pile on the riding gear (layers as required) and not sweat half to death.
If you get cold, it's coffee and muffin time.

Ron, enjoy your ride. I spent 4 hours this morning mowing, weedeating, and trimming. Two weeks being gone in the rainy season made this quite a chore. It is 85F/30C here at noon. I'm gonna take a qucik ride before the rains hit this afternoon.

Hey Carl, just home from my coffee run and it's a balmy 13C here (chilly wind out of the north though) as we speak and will warm up to a high of 21C by Thursday and it looks like sunshine all week. Colours are changing and the task over the next few weeks here, gardening wise, will be the annual leaf "harvest". But some very good riding weather for the next little while!

I've been finding some good mom and pop coffee places that are each either 10 minutes to as much as a couple of hours from the house (no Tims - though I like their coffee too). Depending on how cold it is determines how far I'll go for a good cup of dark roast. We looking for some of that warmer stuff to come our way later this week-should see maybe 21C by Thursday and it looks like sunshine all the way so maybe even get to head out for that four-hour (return) coffee run! It's all good!!!:y2:

Glad you got your ride in. I didn't; the rain got here first. Sounds like you have some riding weather ahead. Take advantage of it!

Crazy hot indeed :y26:
It's back to normal at about 8-9C this morning. It might getup to 13-14C later.
I'll be closing up the cottages in the next week or so. I do it a bit at a time (day by day) so it's not a rush or a chore.

Whoa, that's crazy hot!:y13: Forecast calls for 18c here today and lots of ole sol so another fine day for scootin'

Where are you located, Kawartha? I hope you don't mind me asking. I'm from Calgary, AB and these are the days I love living in the south. Perfect riding weather... except today. Raining. Should be back to high of 80F and low of 57F with sunshine by Thursday and all weekend.

Hi Golfingirl! I'm north east of Toronto in what city dwellers call "cottage country" specifically Kawartha Lakes Region. We moved here 4 years ago when I retired and built a place on a couple of acres and on the water. I travelled to Calgary quite often in my past life and lived for a time in Edmonton back in the early '80s. Don't at all miss the crazy cold winters out there. Our first January in Edmonton the temp never got above -35c!! We now spend part of our winter in FLA and catch up with the Jays and spring training in Dunedin

I love cottage country!

I lived in Edmonton too, in the early to late 80's. The good old days when the Oilers were Champs.

I must say, despite the traffic, the weather in Atlanta makes it easy to ride year round. There are a couple fantastic coffee shops in town that I ride between. A true cafe racer??? Perhaps :o)

Hey Uall, Just got back from a 45" ride here in the foot-hills of Warrenton, Va. Temp in the low 50s with some sun. My roadcrafter suit made it wonderfull. I am really happy with my 2006 t100. What a pleasant bike. Does everything it should without any worries. Nice to be alive and have the scoot.

You are fortunate to live in some of the prettiest country I've ever ridden in! :y2:

A good ride in good temps and beautiful country. Life is good. TUP

I'm so tired of hearing about the year-round good riding weather all you riders enjoy in the south that I have decided to move south too. Well, about 300kms south of where I live now anyway.:y2:
