Head bolt replacemeant?

This will probably be directed at grandpaul, but advise from all is appreciated. Just got head back from machine work, on newer car and motorcycles they recommend new head bolts after taking apart. This will be the 3rd top end tear down, should I replace the head bolts? Thanks in advance

well I cant see any harm in re using them as most old bikes used the same ones for most of there life time , but there's no harm in changing them ether if you want peace of mind .

I've never replaced a head bolt, and never had an issue.

Are they stretch bolts? If not, you don't have to replace them. Just for my interest what engine are we talking here please?
