I forgot about Rocky. I was thinking of Lynn Swan, Franco Harris and the Steel Curtain but Rocky was very big in getting the wins.

Yes of course all those guys - including Mean Joe Greene....but I was thinking of guys who were regarded as not able to play in the NFL for one reason or another.

I read a book which I can't recall the name of right now by another NFL player from an opposing team saying he used to get physically sick the night before he had to play across the line from Mean Joe Greene.

Ok, I see what you mean. . . I went off on a tangent.

I remember hearing an interview with probably the same player talking about getting sick the night before when he had to face Mean Joe Green. He was one heck of a player.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I'm on my monthly trip to Mom's but this time it is a little different....

We are picking her up at the only nursing home we could find on short notice and with a ride along medical attendant, ferrying her to Texas.

It marks an end to my monthly trips to the Kansas City area. Still an occasional trip to clear the house and arrange for it's sale but next year, my vacation is once again mine!!!!
