Thanks MOT, but alas it's still raining so there goes our Canada Day vintage bike ride and BBQ

Due to no ride there probably won't be any pictures. There isn't much interesting in seeing a bunch of old farts sitting around eating hamburgers
But there is a ride scheduled for next weekend so our fingers are crossed for good weather.
In spite of the nasty weather, I wish you and all of our friends north of the border a happy Canada Day.

It's pretty good weather for the celebrations in most of the country today - just not here in the Maritimes.

How about sharing some of that rain with your southern brothers? I don't think the ones in Florida or Alabama want any of it so just send it to Texas.

No sun until Friday now.
In the meantime it's not solid rain; just light showers, drizzle, heavy showers once in a while. Just enough to make it continually wet and miserable.
No, we do not need it; we are above normal in rainfall and it is raining right now.
Yeah, looking at radar here at work for the past week or two and we see plenty of rain in your area. Sure making us jealous.
We are high and dry; but some of the low lying areas (read swamps) are flooding. It is nice to see the lakes back to normal levels and the swamps with water in them.
For us in the Maritimes, it was the wettest June on record - and it's still rain, showers, drizzle until the end of the week.
