Hi folks,
just finished working on my Bonneville..for today
First repair was changing the cylinder-head-gasket. I recommend to retorque the bolts and nuts twice.
Run the engine hot for about 5-10 KM and retorque. Run the engine hot again for about 20KM and retorque again.
At my bike it was necessary, because bolts and nuts have slackened, because of the setting of the head gasket.
And of course control the tappet clearance.
Next check should be in accordance to Workshop Manual at about 500 Miles.
What really drives me nuts is the use of the word "like" every other word and also "you know" every few words.
People these days seem to have trouble putting words together in a sentence.
End of rant
