Hi,

For a while I've been having this weird problem. I would fill my gear box up, go for a ride, after about 10 miles it would get difficult to shift gear. I would go back check the oil level & the oil was all gone. I would fill it again, ride, same issue. There was no oil over the rear of the bike, no oil anywhere over the bike.
I bought some UV dye to check for leaks, filled the gear box, ran the engine for 5 minuets. There was a puddle of oil under the bike, checked it with UV lamp & it glowed, checked under the bike, just a little dribble.
I drained the primary, loads of oil came out & it glowed as well.
How can the oil be moving from the gear box to the primary side? I have had my bike 31 year's & it has never done this before.
How to I fix it please?
