Fuse Question

Bike is 1973 Triumph 750 Tiger TR7 R

Finishing installing a new harness I,m wondering if this is a misprint with my wiring schematic. Bike is positive grd. According to the schematic the main fuze at the battery goes on the neg side of the battery ,not on the positive side. Is this right ? Gene in Mn

Gene, in general, the fuse always goes on the hot side, so if you have positive ground the fuse goes on the negative side.

On a 1973 British bike ? I believe this was built before they went to negative ground....They still drive on the wrong side of the road, but they did change thier polarity to the way the rest of us do it back thier somewhere. Truth is in the US, polarity was not standardized before we went to 12 volt in the mid-1950's. . ...J.D.
