This is a little different issue. I refurbished the front end on my '02 Bonneville over the Winter and now I have a problem. I replaced the fork bushings and seals, new progressive fork springs and oil (10W) wheel bearings and steering head bearings. The damper rod seat was missing from one side and the ring on the top of the damper rod was in pieces. I was unable to get these rings as Triumph do not list them so I found similar sized "O" rings instead.
Now when I corner at speed, there is a wobble on the front end, but nothing in a straight line. Tire pressures are good and the tire is balanced and it is the same tire as before. Steering head bearings are not loose and just fall to the side as it should.
I would not have thought that the substitution of "O" rings for the plastic rings would make that much difference.
Anyone know where these plastic rings can be sourced as that will be my starting point?
Jim.

Is it possible that something else is loose now? Rear wheel bearings, rear swing arm bearings/bushings for example. That would cause the bike to wobble as well. Just exploring different options.

No, everything else is tight and working as it should. It is definitely the front. I'm going to play around with the steering head bearing adjustment to see if it makes a difference.
