Finally got out on the new ride today after sorting out the Alternator problem (thanks Shane).Really enjoyed the bike but a couple of things stood out.Firstly the bike has a front end "wobble"at around 50mph.Hold the handlebars firm and it is hardly noticeable but if you are loosely holding the bars the wobble is quite aggressive.The second thing that stood out was the amount of revs the engine does to the speed ratio.At 70 the engine revs sound high,is there a aftermarket front and rear sprockets that will change the gearing?Thirdly,What oil,tyres do other Trophy owners use recomend and how frequently do you change the oil and filter.Thanks all.

I only have experience with the Bonneville so will have to let others help with this.
The wobble will be the tyre the trophy is a very heavy bike up front so it may be out of ballance but more than likely the tyre is worn uneven .
on the revs the 1200 is a revy engine and allways sounds like is raving even when its not , but try a 19T front sprocket as some people put a 17T on the front to make it easer in traffic .

Alan I recently changed the front sprocket on the America,standard front on a 2007 is an 18 tooth.I went to a 19 and just transformed the ride for me,no longer looking for a sixth gear and can hold the gears just a bit longer sometimes to save on the changes.Here in France I got the sprocket for €21 so a cheap fix.
The only difference is aftermarket sprockets do not have the rubber cushion on both sides,doesn't seem to make any difference.Seems to have dropped 2-300 refs at 70 mph in top.I think it's a worthwhile mod.

I don't know if this is a possibility or if anyone has done this but looking at the jt sprockets and chains the 1993 model has a 45 tooth rear and 18 tooth front sprockets and a 112 link chain.The 2001-2004 has 40 tooth rear and a 19 tooth front sprocket and a 108 link chain.The rt sprocket numbers are the same (rtr 2010 and rtf 1180) but with the amount teeth different.Any ideas on this?
its the equiverlant to 9 teeth less on the rear sprocket as one on the front is equiverlant to 4 on the rear , its a tad high geared for my liking and would be hell in trafic .
i would go 19T on the front and 44 on the rear thats 5 down on the rear that should make a good diferance and still me manageble in the town .
