No I have not been able to find one that will work without having to sell my house to pay for it 
Well I now have water from my water tank the pump cost me
2,200.00 ZAR = 266.205 USD
2,200.00 ZAR = 253.258 AUD

Then I had to get the plumber in to connect it to the house mains. Here are some photo taken of the pipe that burst

Me too and they are saying Monday another heavy few days of rain, but that will fill my tank up again from the usage of the weekend 
Sheesh, how much water is being wasted with that leak?

Well the turned it all off and are now repairing but that can take at least 5 days to get done

Well taps ran dry last night so I am now on tank water. They say heavy rain again Monday so the tank will be filled up again for the next few days.
That private reservoir is coming in very handy!
I was surprised how well this setup works almost seems to have better water pressure than my main supply.
Well, when the water comes back on you can use the water to fill your pool. Then continue to use the pump from the pool to give you better pressure.
I have been wanting to get a pump for the tank for some time as I would just let it run into the pool from the tank and that took almost a day to get any amount of water back into the pool from the tank. Now I can also use that water for the garden as well
