As the title suggests, I attempted to remove the baffle from the Arrow can on my '18 XRT. I drilled out the rivets just fine and then got stopped cold because the carbon end cap just would not come off. I double checked to make sure the rivets were fully out and tried all different kinds of things to pry it, tap it, etc with no success.

I could get it to wiggle but there was a section that just would not move.

Anyone have any words of advice? I like the way the Arrow looks but I'd like to get just a smidge more sound and I'd rather not spring for a Scorpion or similar.

Wish I could offer some advice but nada. Hope someone chimes in with something for you. Never heard of the Arrow cans having removable baffles.
It doesn't have a removable baffle per se but you can grind the end of the exhaust pipe, through the weld and pull the baffle out.

Have you tried a broom handle? Running the bike to heat tye end can then sticking a broom handle as far as possible into the end of the baffle gives more leverage to wiggle and work out out, works every time for me.

Some baffles require a dent puller. Last bike a R9T, I had to drill using 90 degree attachment then inserting the slight hook end of a HF slide impact ( dent puller) let the Euro 4 baffle out of the Akro can. The Euro 5 is a tougher animal. My '22 Triumph Street Scrambler has good looking up pipes and is got me scratching my head as I cannot figure out a sanitary way to do a bafflectomy. The Free Spirit pipe worked to get rid of the heat on my knee although didn't really improve sound or performance. Anybody have a trick to get the SS baffle out without killing the can? Thanks!

Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear in my original post. It's not the baffle I'm having trouble with: I've watched the videos and am aware that I have to grind down to get it out. What I'm having a problem with is getting the stupid carbon fiber end cap off so I can get to grinding on the end of the pipe.

I'd go one size up on the drill bit to make sure rivets fragments are out, spray lube between end cap and can, keep wiggling with gentile steady pull. Might even use hair dryer on end cap to expand cap. I do a lot of pop rivet work and unless the drill bit is very new it's EZ to leave bits of rivet material in place causing binding.
