2019 Thruxton 1200 R - decat/xpipe/and baffle removal - self mapping???

Hi all, I seem to recall reading somewhere discussions revolving around the TTR's ability to self tune or remap... if you didn't touch the throttle and let it run for say 15mins after the cooling fans kicked in... can anyone confirm this for me please. I am considering simply putting on a TEC xpipe and removing the baffles from the stock triumph exhaust......

Go to the Thruxton R forum where this has all been covered by dyna John and others way smarter than I . If I recall correctly , it will retune itself over a short period of time without using the guick tune method. Pretty sure the stock pipes are straight thru , no baffles to remove . I installed the Monetone x pipe on mine , did absolutely nothing else and it works great ,a little more noise but not to offensive , according to my friends . I have a lot of respect for theTec guys but chose the Monetone , not much more money but completely different construction from the others . All the best. Brooke

Hey Hey Hey.... thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I hope you are right about the pipes being straight through, but I think here in Oz they do have baffles, but don't quote me on that...I could be confused with some youtube footage coming out of the UK....
