I cut the baffles out of my euro 4 arrow pipe.

have not had time to ride the bike but on idle it sounds better as I found the sound of the arrow pipe very disappointing.

I also have the TEC decat and even with the baffles out it doesn’t seem overly Offensive.

Well done kenxe, with your decat is there less heat coming from the exhaust onto your leg?.

I would say it isn’t as hot yeah. hard to tell exactly as I only ever rode the bike in cold weather before getting the decat done and since getting it done it’s been really hot so not a like for like comparison! I don’t have an issue with the heat anyway with jeans or textile pants

Very nice work, Kenxe. Looks really good. The Arrow exhaust on my 2012 Tiger 800 had one screw holding the baffle in. Remove the screw and pull the baffle out. Much easier than what you went through.

yeah the euro 4 pipes have the baffles welded in. Totally unnecessary they really don’t want you removing these baffles!

You’ll find the arrow stuff for the USA has removable baffles were as for the uk it doesn’t, I’ve a arrow exhaust on my street triple RS with a removable baffle because it’s USA spec, the same exhaust for the EU you can’t remove the baffle.

Yeh look I've also removed my baffles on my Arrow muffler and have a de-cat as well (by Verex) but I've found the noise totally obnoxious, to me the bike sounds a lot like a Suzuki Boulevard C50 with straight through pipes, totally awful, rubbish so I've reinstalled the factory mufflers (untouched) only and yeh much nicer than Arrow (no baffles) and Arrow with baffles the gasses built up in system coming out as FFFFFFFFT noise (Arrow rubbish with baffles)

Okay, I know I kept mine when I removed it. I don't plan on installing it again. I will go to my storage unit and retrieve it. I will do this Saturday and get back to you.

Thanks! Maybe you could send, or post a picture of it, to make sure it is the correct one. Or, is your exhaust the same part number? (A9600781)
