Wants to guess? You probably noticed that the photo has not been taken in the sea area, (Ostrobothnia) because of blue color of the water. Right?@Arctic Fox where do they race that boat?
Saimaa. Likely. It looks like the area I used to frequent.Wants to guess? You probably noticed that the photo has not been taken in the sea area, (Ostrobothnia) because of blue color of the water. Right?
Theoretically there are few big enough lakes in the Finland: lake Saimaa, lake Päijänne (connection to lake Keitele), Kokemäenjoen vesistö (from Virran =>Tammerfors/Tampere =>Tavastehus/Hämeenlinna), or the untouched barren lake Inari (in the North).
As I rode back from east border to the west coast I passed 3 first ones.
Quite right. Have you ever been in Puumala (one kind of Gibraltar of lake Saimaa)? Some 50km west from Imatra ja 20km west from cottage we rent. We stopped there as we rode back home. Lovely place and friendly lovely people (even as they talked Finnish I could hardly understand).Saimaa. Likely. It looks like the area I used to frequent.
