Scientists used a confocal laser microscope to map the topography of an IHOP flapjack. When they compared the relative change in elevation to the US Geological Survey’s data for the state of Kansas, they were able to confirm that Kansas really is “flatter than a pancake.” (Source, Source 2, Source 3)

Your brain starts slowing down when you’re 24. This is when the reaction time of people playing video games shows the first sign of decline. You’re not getting dumber, though, because your brain then begins to compensate by relying on experience and mental shortcuts- so your thought process actually becomes more efficient. I believe that one.
The love and attention I see lavished on dogs is almost hard to believe.
I agree with you, Rocky. I am a softy for dogs and cats; but I also have great compassion for my fellow human beings.

Of course , I‘ve had some dogs , cats , even a pony ,none were behaved perfectly all the time but I never ever called them an idiot or an a’hole ..
I think we have more patience with animals because they can't reason as we do. We tend not to be so patient with human beings because they can or we think they should be able to reason and use common sense.
