While surfing the interwebs.....o.k. I was killing time waiting on a customer who was running late......I came across some 3 M high vis reflective tape. This got me thinking....in my never ending endeavor to increase lighting visibility "maybe coating the interior portions --the little silver plastic bits-- in the tailight, top trunk and turn signals with this stuff would increase light projection and or visibility"?

So I put it to you all, what say you? Would it help? Hurt? or just be a waste of time and $?

Well, my first thought is anything reflective behind your bulb will bounce more light out. I'm not sure what it looks like inside your lights, if its already reflective you may not see any difference.

I don't see that working very well in lights, but if you give it a shot let us know how it went.
I don't ride much at night, but I apply silver coloured reflective tape to the back of my white helmets and the jackets I wear already have reflective material.
I don't have any top boxes or hard bags so I don't apply any tape to the bike.

I do ride at night; but like Rocky, I don't have a top box and I usually don't have my hard panniers on unless I am traveling.
