I got those dry spec saddlebags thrown under the seat and I still have 4 inches of clearance. They have a rigid interior that keeps them from sagging.
Thanks for you suggestion. Only 170.00

Nice! You went for them... let me know how they hold up! Might switch mine out.

I'd like to know also.
The bags come with sets for strapping to the rear foot pegs and a longer strap for around the rear turn indicator or fender connecting both bags.
the rearmost strap tie down placement is really a function of how far back you want these to fit. I have my center strap under the seat rather than on top.
I feel they can easily wrap in a boat tail contour hugging the contour of the rear frame, this is a different look than the “add a frame” or pannier mounted bags I’ve seen. I think
It’s size and flexibility fits well on to the nakedness of the bike. The black/grey color works with the seat and fender colors . I am pleased there is a semi rigid interior form on these bags. If any of you have gone whitewater rafting, this is the material they make rafts out of as well as dry bags.
My day trips a simple ones but the company has full sets of complimentary bags for the longer adventuresome treks.

Hope that helps.
