Ok, a little off the topic of Bikes but this crossed my mind to put on here so here it is. How many like a good cigar out there and whats ya favourites.

I love a good cigar and know of a few good cigar stores. some of my favorites are Hoya de Monteray (bad bloody spelling) Excaliber number 1, the Fuente double Chatue, Boliviar, Davildoff and Avo to name a few. i have a humidor and have a cigar know and then more so around christmas.

Carl,, if ya like cigars mate i will take ya to a few places. One place near me has band nights where they will have a blues or jazz band outside playing.

I am like Dave. I don't smoke much of anything; but I will have a good cigar now and then. Steve, I would love to go with you to a few of those good places.

I used to be a heavy smoker. I used to smoke 40 Embassy Regal a day. Tried to give up, and ended up smoking 10 Hamlet cigars a day. I smoked for 30yrs but after a major health scare quit immediately!
I'm a reformed smoker now, and I wish I had never started in the first place.
Me mam always used to say 'if you were meant to smoke, you would have been born with a chimney on your head'.
I think she may have been right!

Hey gumpt...I am like you. I was a very heavy smoker (5 1/2 pcks/day) but never really liked cigars. I did enjoy my pipe also.
But, like you, a health scare made me quit, and have never felt better in my life. And, with today's prices, I would have to take a second mortgage on my home just to feed that old habit

Yes Shyguy, I too have never felt better. Funny how being wired to an ECG machine brings on a sudden urge to stop smoking!

It is almost comical at this point in my life, but, after losing a very close friend with whom I played a lot of tennis in the military to a heart attack that the dr. said was caused by his lungs collapsing, I decided that I should probably get checked. The doctor told me, and I quote, "you have a couple of choices......you can quit smoking now, or plan on a tennis match with him (my deceased friend) in 6 months to a year." As you said, some things motivate us better than others.

Shoooooooooooooo I should never of done that uh uh the buggers at the table had swopped for some green stuff and
