Well now, seems I've been lurking for a new-old-stock set of cigar silencers for, what, about twenty years now, to replace the original ones on my '78 Bonnie that I had to CHOP the ends off of (even though they still look reeel cool) because one of them got damaged and no new ones were available at the time. As you probably know, the cigar silencers were stock on post '73 models until, what, around 80-82 or something-or-other? The earlier versions were part number 71-3999 and the later ones were 71-4159, as I recall. I, personally, like the 71-3999 better, cuz they just look more expensive, and probably were, BUT, they are also more rare and harder to find in good shape. Sure, I have a set NOS 71-4159s in my SAFE, but like I said, these 71-3999s are WAY COOL! So, since this is show-and-tell day, I'd like to show you guys (and gals) my new additions. I won't tell how much I had to pay for these, cuz then you might think I was rich or something. Which I am not . . . at least, not reeeel rich. I mean, I only got ONE motorcycle. Note that these silencers are, indeed, new, old, stock. Aren't they perty?
