Bonneville/Scrambler/Thruxton front brake upgrade.

I am sure I did this mod on another bike...we drilled out the channels of the middle piston to the outers to make it work. Everything here in OZ on Ebay has two lines in...confused...

Only one I can find is in the Netherlands and is 60 Euro landed...cant believe its this hard.

Yes that sounds like it should work ok. There is a guy on ebay selling them in Italy complete with dual brake lines for 145 pounds!
That makes the one in Belgium cheap! front brake left nissin caliper for triumph bonneville scrambler thruxton

well I have one...I can drill it or make up two brake lines to the master?..didnt think of that...

Pop the pistons...drill the centre piston down to the red tube...all 3 are linked...easy fix..

I am drilling the centre piston to link into the other two...blocking off the bottom hose inlet...Appears this is the fix for the linked caliper.I will do a step by step for tech section..

although more costly the pretech 6 piston caliper is TOO !! because its grabbing power causes heavy fork dive, different springs are a cheap fix but i put the drop in Bitubo cartridge kit calibrated for my weight, what a great combination! you will nee d a brake line as well due to the caliper end fitting orientation

OH YEA! the direct mount + HH pads help + the lighter floating EBC rotor is a plus, easy 1-2 finger braking + with the OE master cylinder!!!

Hi all, my brain is dizzy from the various discussions on T100 brake upgrades! I bought a pair of new transalp calipers as I'd read that the 07 onwards ones would fit my bonnie. Being a skinflint, they were cheap compared to aftermarket stuff and better value than secondhand nissin calipers if I'd been able to find them! Sadly the left hand caliper fouls my disc (rotor). I have an EBC floating one as a previous upgrade. The pin fouls the disc and I have read others having this issue. My understanding is that bracket part No.45190-MFA-D11 may resolve the issue. I now see the italian sellers bonnie upgrade caliper and if i'd realised i'd probably have gone for that option but it's a bit late now, or do I buy that and try and re sell the pair I bought for the transalp! I'd love to upgrade my '96 thunderbird too as it's worse than the T100 but at this rate I may not bother! Partzilla have reduced the cost which helps and the italian seller (who sold the original pair i bought!) isn't answering my messages to see if he sells the bracket only as it looks like he's had them made for the bonnie upgrade.
If anyone can confirm this bracket is suitable I'd be really, really grateful!
