Went down to the NEC Show at Birmingham yesterday, I took a few snaps while I was there.

It was an excellent day out, lots of bargains to be had. Some traders had leathers reduced by over 50%!
I bought a pair of Lewis leather trousers for £49 and a pair of Axo boots for £50, both were less than half the usual price! (good old credit crunch!)

Thanks for the excellent photos Gumpt (as usual) I do like the look of the Thruxton. I go every other year too the NEC as by the time i,ve taken fuel, tickets and parking fees into consideration I don,t seem to save that much on merchandise. Though they seem to have discounted by more than usual this year.

Geoff.

I was looking at the pics of that black bonnie with the gold decal instead of a badge and the alloys and dunstall/thruxton style pipes on the triumph site the other day and was thinking to myself how thats the first bonnie i have seen that could almost pull me away from cruisers. ALMOST. I wish they'd have used that decal on the Tbird instead of that crummy badge they used.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I like the shape of the new T-bird, but sure miss the gold pen strips and two colors.

Dave
