I know where they come from, the parts fairy is a Girlie rider and messing with our minds. :y2:

Just gave my little black girl a tub and was about to use my track stands to secure her for a towel down.
I remembered this thread and figured why not do the job at a comfortable height.
Also take advantage of the situation to post another photo of my baby. :y2:

Kev,I see you strap her down
Does it not sit securely enuff in that front chock.?

Harry years ago I was on a Norton mailing list, a member had his show winning Commando on a similar (not exactly the same) stand to mine and went inside for dinner, he came out half an hour later and it had toppled off the fully jacked up lift. It landed upside down, he lost both instruments, tank, bars and other stuff that I forget.

So to answer the question, I think it will sit in the front wheel chock but I'm not about to test it when I have plenty of tie-downs at hand.
Belt and braces for me when it comes to such things.

As stated it was a show winning bike and the day before the annual Norton show Day in Sydney, real bummer.

Now back to cleaning my bike just now, took it off the lift, rode it to town to top-up the fuel up and warm the chain in preparation for a good lube.
WARNING, when your chain lube won't spray out of the can don't take the lid off and poke a nail into the top.
That stuff is so hard to get off your glasses. SAD

Dang, it must be cold down-under, your glasses frosted over. :y2:

ya gotta be kinda glad it was your glasses that got grubby.

Yeah, my goggles did help, the stuff isn't acidic or dangerous just not good up your nose and the taste lingers.
Turned out that the white nozzle (holding in the photo) was blocked, compressed air got it working again. Twas worth it as the tin is 75% full.

ROTFL You can PAINT those floors?!?!?!? Who knew......but will I not have to remove the years of leaves, sawdust, funk, oil, gas spills and cat poo? I mean you can't JUST paint over that stuff......or can you.....hhhhmmmmm
