BATTERY TIME

It's time for a new battery for my T100. Thinking about a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. Deltran (Battery Tender) has them and I'd like to know if anybody has one and how they like it.

I have never tried one. Using a battery tender, I get four to five years out of YUASA batteries; I have seen no reason to change.

Me too. I've used Yuasa batteries for many years and get even more years out of them.
For example, the Yuasa that came with my '06 T100 is still going strong.
I don't know if the fact that they are sitting removed from the bikes for six months and tickled by a Battery Tender every month during the winter has anything to do with longevity or not.
Batteries that have to live in hot climates all year around have a much harder life than they would in the cooler temps that we have around here.

I've not tried one personally but know several folks who recently purchased them and have no current issues ..........oh THAT was a bad pun! I'm sorry.

Update:

Today I installed the new LiFePO4 battery I purchased from http://bellacorse.com/bcc242.htm .

OEM battery

OEM compaired to Battery Tender.

New battery installed.

I didn't go for a ride but started the bike several times and it started better than when the bike was new.

Wow, that's a big difference in size and weight.
Battery Tender (Deltran) don't put out crap products so I'm sure it will do fine.
